Dear
Brother/Sister in Jesus Christ, Everywhere
it is reported; there is no peace in every country, town, home, church and
individuals. In the above circumstances the Holy Bible teaches SEEK PEACE!
(Ps 34:14 and 1 Pet 3:11).
From whom you can seek peace? Ps 29:11 declare you can seek peace from almighty
God the owner of peace.Yes, our Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord of peace (Rom
15:33).Well, there are two kinds of peace available in the world. They are, False
peace Perfect
peace Let
us deeply concentrate some mysteries regarding peace today. The word of God does
not proceed out of His mouth not for no purpose. His word will work in your now
and fill you with heavenly peace that the world can not give. I.
Peace in an individual The
Lord gives peace for an individual. A woman afflicted flow of blood for twelve
years who had spent all her livelihood on physicians of no use found peace in
the Lord Jesus Christ. Yes,
those who are afflicted by sickness do not have peace. Righteous Job says that
he lost his sleep and wearisome nights are appointed to him (Job
7:3) Then
who else lack peace? There
is no peace for the wicked (Isiah
48:22) So
dear Brother, Sister what is the remedy? Let us now cling to His promise now. Ps
29:11
says, The
Lord will bless His people with peace.
Yes, God will bless HIS PEOPLE with peace. Forsake wickedness, Forsake idolatry
Love His Law. Flee from sin. And be His child. Then automatically the peace of
God will take charge of you. The
King cast Daniel into the den of lions. Daniel had a pleasant peaceful sleep
though he was at the jaw of death. But the scripture says in Dan
6:18…..The
King’s sleep went from him. Yes, any man who raises against the child of God,
the Lord will first takes away his peace. Fear not, Jesus Christ will both lay you down in peace and sleep (Ps 4:8)

Peace in your Church 1
Cor 6:6
"But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbeliever" Here
"brother" is meant for a believer. There is no absolute peace within
the walls of church. As
per 1
Cor 3:3,4,
it is because of strife among believers. Paul laments that the believers are
still carnal and there are divisions among them. The
Lord took me to Kuwait during February/March 2000. I was to preach at 3AM on
March 1 2000 for Sri Lanka congregation. (During
this time there was tough war between Tamils and Sri Lankans in Sri Lanka)
Pastor Robert welcomed me to the Pulpit. I was astonished to see both Tamils and
Sri Lankans worshipped Jesus without any difference. Praise God! It’s Jesus
who united them. I
shout with Paul that we all "speak the same thing." (1
Cor 1:10).
Then way should we have difference among us? Samaritans and Jews never join
hands. But in Luke
17, ten
leprous men forgetting their difference shouted in one mindedness for healing.
This should again happen in our churches. I
had been to a crusade recently in a C.S.I church in Trivandrum district. There
was no choir in the church for the past thirty years due to infighting. My first
day message shook the entire congregation and convicted the old choir team. They
came together to sing for the glory of God the very next day after thirty years.
Who did this? It is Jesus who prayed "they
may all be one"
(Jn
17:21) III.
Peace with God Job
22:21 "with Him, be at peace"
Yes, the Bible declares, to have peace with God. What brought enmity with God? Firstly,
it is our sin, which makes enmity with God. Isiah
59:2
says. "but
your iniquities have separated you from your God." Thank
you God we have victory over sins through the conquiring blood of Jesus Christ. For
he made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the
righteousness of God in Him. (2
Cor 5:21) Secondly
it is the devil which separates us from God. The Bible teaches us to resist the
devil and it will flee from you. The Lord Jesus Christ gives every child of God
power and authority over devils (Lk
9:1)
and God empowers us to put the devil under our feet (Rom
16:20) IV.
Peace in Family Gen
18:19
- "for
I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his house hold
after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice,
that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him" Yes,
Abraham‘s family was a peace loving family. Infighting
among brothers, diverse cases between husband and his wife have became plenty in
today’s society. What is the reason? The
Bible says, "Because
for a piece of bread a man will transgress"
(Prov 28:21)
I
remember an incident. A father passed away after giving away two adjoin plots to
his sons. After father’s death, a dispute arose among brothers that the wall
standing in between the plot belongs to whom? The case went to court. They sold
the plots to meet the expense of the case. By the time the judgement was
pronounced, the plots were in somebody’s possession.
It
is shameful that there is no peace in Christian families too. There are many
reasons.
Recently
I was sharing word of God in another Country. The church belongs to children of
God of Muslim background.
In
the midst of sermon God showed me a little boy and proclaimed thus "I see
through the power of Holy Sprit that a family with no peace is here due to
terrible sickness of a little child. In the name of Jesus the child is healed
right now and the family is restored with peace"
It
happened right then, Lord Jesus Christ, took away blood cancer from Sulaiman
Salamat and God’s name was glorified. Praise God
One
Monian with her wife Shyamala for the first time attended the fasting prayer in
Prayer Gardens on 10th
April 1999. They went and knocked every door for the past fifteen years for a
child.
Loosing
their mental peace they jointly cried unto God during healing prayers. Then the
Holy Spirit spoke through me "Shyamala, you are deeply worried for a child.
The Lord of miracles blesses your womb right now". From that month Shyamala,
wife of Monian conceived and in due time she gave birth to a female child.
Praise God!
Afflicted
by such problems you may be visiting this web site. Fear not, we have a super
natural God Jesus Christ. Yes,
"HE
(JESUS CHRIST) HIMSELF is our peace" If
you want us to pray for you, send us your request we will pray for you. May
god bless you! Yours
in Him, Bro.
